This is a little experiment to explore the practical use of Neighborhood Syntegration. I get started with a prioritized subset of topics from Critical Basic Needs Checklist and Mission Critical Functions
It starts with a limited set of neighborhood concerns, Key Neighborhood Questions. From a consideration of these an Opening Question is created.
The Opening Question is put to a group of interested neighborhood members which lead to concise Statements of Importance generated by individual. These are considered and refined into a dozen Topics that will form the structure of the Syntegration.
Neighborhood members and stakeholders will take on four roles and then explore each of the dozen topics separately in small groups of 5 to 11 participants. The conversations and outcomes will be recorded and shared among the dozen explorations. The conversations will iterate until actions emerge or interest wanes.
All of this will be publicly shared in an ongoing fashion, inviting wide neighborhood participation and collective action.
